CONGRATULATIONS TO "2011 CHEF OF THE YEAR, EXECUTIVE CHEF BRIAN BOSTON!!!

On Monday, May 16th, 2011, the Restaurant Association of Maryland held its "Stars of the Industry Gala" and our own, Executive Chef Brian Boston was named "2011 Chef of the Year".  We are so excited here at the Milton Inn to know that Chef Boston has been recognized for all of his hard work, not only here at the Milton Inn, but also for all that he does for the restaurant industry itself.  Thank you, all of you, who voted for Chef Boston. He could not have won this prestigious award without you, the voters and his great staff. 

HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!

For those of you who remember reading the paragraph above when Chef Brian Boston was named 2011 Chef of the Year and how excited we were, well HERE WE GO AGAIN...but this time its Restaurateur.  Chef Boston has been nominated by The Restaurant Association of Maryland as "Restaurateur of the Year".  He was nominated along with several hundred other people and now he is in the final 5 nominees.  The Restaurant Association of Maryland Service Industry Gala is in April and that's when the winners are announced.

If you are in the service industry, work at a restaurant, etc and your employer is a member of the Restaurant Association of Maryland, you are eligible to vote for this award.  Most of the categories are open to anyone who would like to vote, but this particular one is not like that.  You must be in the service industry to vote.  We would love to see Chef Boston win this prestigious award.  He gives so much of his time trying to make the restaurant industry as great as it should be.  Its not just about his restaurant here at the Milton Inn, its about all restaurants.  He goes before the politicians in Annapolis and fights for the laws that are going to benefit the restaurant industry instead of just sitting back and allowing them to pass and hurt the restaurant business.
